Nepali Congress (NC) leader Prakash Man Singh has noted the need of holding elections as per the transitional arrangement in the context when the issue of local tiers was not finalized. Leader Singh said this while inaugurating the 8th district convention of Nepal Teachers Association here on Friday. It was crucial to implement the constitution once it was promulgated, Singh said, underlining the need of going for election for the protection of the statute as well. If the agenda of local tiers was not finalized, the local body election should be held, he added. Also speaking on the occasion were central vice-chairperson of Nepal Teachers Association Bishnu Devi Pandey, NC Chitwan President Jeet Narayan Shrestha, lawmakers Ram Krishna Ghimire and Sheshnath Adhikar, among others. The Association District chapter has 1,686 members. - See more at: http://www.lightnepalvideo.com/videos/leader-singh-for-polls-as-per-transitional-arrangement/#sthash.wiEd2qxI.dpuf
