India will remeasure height of Mount Everest

India wants to measure height of Mount Everest again. Indian survey team will measure Mount Everest within two months; recently satellite data has shown that Mount Everest height decreased. India wants to check the height weather the earthquake has done any effect or not.


Scientists around the world saying that 7.8 Magnitude devastating earthquake decreased the Mount Everest height by 1 Miter. 62 years ago first time Indian survey team measured the Mount Everest which is still official height of Mount Everest.
